Anchor Text Composition Scorer

Paste your anchor text list and see the mix by category: branded, naked URL, generic, partial match, exact match, and natural mentions. Skewed too far toward exact-match commercial anchors is one of the clearest signs a profile was built rather than earned.

These are starting-point thresholds based on manual link vetting for tech companies, meant as a first pass rather than a universal standard. A profile can clear every check here and still fail on other grounds, and a single tripped flag is worth a closer look rather than an automatic disqualification. Nothing you paste in is sent anywhere; it's scored in your browser.

Anchor Text Composition Scorer by Jan Suski

Expectations for a full backlink profile: exact-match commercial anchors above 10% is the line I'd call risky, and branded anchors below 20% usually means the mix was built rather than earned.

One anchor per line. Add a comma and a number at the end of a line to weight it by how many times it occurs.

Paste at least one anchor above and hit analyze.
